By the entrance to my beloved forest in Ålesund, there is this cliff. In fact, it is more like a massive wall overgrown by moss and ferns. I would greet this site each time I go into the woods. During the winter, this cliff side and its vegetation are covered by magnificent ice formations, which make them resemble an organic altar. Images from this series are taken during my walks in early winter 2016 and they all depict the ice marvels contemplated on this wall.
